Summary
EQUEL is a web-based CAM preparation system for PE foam packaging manufacturers. Registered business users upload STEP or DXF files to generate production-ready DXF layers, previews, reports and cost calculations. We process account data, uploaded production files and generated output only to provide, secure, support and maintain the EQUEL service. We do not sell personal data, do not use advertising trackers, and do not use uploaded customer files for marketing or AI/model training.

This Privacy Policy applies to the EQUEL web application at https://equel.app, related EQUEL account services, and any future EQUEL mobile companion application provided to registered business users.

Business Users and Customer Production Data
EQUEL is intended for business use. Customer production files may contain industrial designs, product geometry, project names, customer references or technical information. In most cases these files are business/technical data rather than personal data. If a customer uploads files containing personal data, the customer is responsible for having a valid legal basis to upload and process that data through EQUEL.
What Data We Process
Depending on how you use EQUEL, we may process the following categories of data: account data such as name, email address, company name and user role; authentication data such as hashed passwords, Google account identifier if Google sign-in is used, and session cookies; contract and billing data such as company details, tax/VAT information, invoices and payment status; uploaded STEP/DXF files and other production files; generated outputs such as DXF layers, ZIP files, previews, reports and cost calculations; settings such as material, machine and cost parameters; support messages; and technical logs such as IP address, browser/device information, timestamps and request URLs.
Purpose and Legal Basis
We process data to create and manage EQUEL accounts, provide the SaaS service, process uploaded files, generate previews and production outputs, calculate reports, provide customer support, secure the service, prevent abuse, maintain backups and logs, issue invoices, comply with accounting and tax obligations, and establish or defend legal claims. The legal bases are performance of a contract or steps prior to entering into a contract, compliance with legal obligations, and our legitimate interests in operating, securing and improving the service.
Uploaded Files and Generated Outputs
Uploaded production files and generated outputs are stored in the customer/user workspace and used only to provide the requested EQUEL processing and related support. We do not publish, sell, rent, disclose, reuse for unrelated projects, or use uploaded customer files to train AI systems or other machine-learning models. Access to uploaded files is limited to authorized users of the relevant account and, where necessary, ARAMKOR personnel or contractors providing support, maintenance or security.
Cookies and Local Storage
EQUEL uses essential session cookies to keep registered users signed in and to protect access to user workspaces. The browser interface may use localStorage to remember interface settings such as material, machine and cost defaults. EQUEL does not use advertising cookies and does not use third-party advertising trackers.
Data Sharing and Processors
We do not sell personal data. We may share or make data available only where necessary to operate the service: hosting infrastructure providers, email providers, authentication providers such as Google when Google sign-in is used, payment/accounting/banking providers, professional advisers, public authorities where legally required, and service providers acting under confidentiality and data-processing obligations. Core server infrastructure is intended to be hosted in the European Union/European Economic Area where practical.
International Transfers
We aim to process and store core EQUEL production data within the European Union/European Economic Area. If a provider used for authentication, email, support or other auxiliary services processes data outside the EEA, such transfers are handled according to that provider’s applicable data protection terms and lawful transfer mechanisms.
Data Retention
Account, contract and billing data are retained for the duration of the customer relationship and for any period required by applicable tax, accounting or legal rules. Uploaded files and generated outputs are retained while the account or project remains active, unless deleted earlier by the customer or by ARAMKOR under agreed service rules. Server logs are retained only as long as necessary for security, diagnostics and abuse prevention. Backup copies may persist for a limited period after deletion before being overwritten under normal backup rotation.
Security
We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect EQUEL data, including HTTPS access, authenticated user sessions, password hashing where password login is used, account-based access control, separation of user workspaces, and restricted administrative access. No internet service can be guaranteed completely secure, but we work to protect uploaded files and account data against unauthorized access, loss or misuse.
Your Rights
Under the GDPR, you may have the right to request access to your personal data, correction of inaccurate data, deletion, restriction of processing, data portability, and objection to processing based on legitimate interests. Where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw consent at any time. To exercise your rights, contact us at info@aramkor.com.
Account and File Deletion
Registered customers may request deletion of account data and uploaded/generated files by contacting ARAMKOR. Some information may be retained where required for invoices, accounting, tax compliance, security, dispute resolution or legal claims.
Supervisory Authority
If you believe your personal data has been processed unlawfully, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the President of the Personal Data Protection Office (UODO), ul. Stawki 2, 00-193 Warszawa, Poland.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy when EQUEL changes, when legal requirements change, or when our processing practices change. The updated version will be published on this page.
